Hello and thanks for checking out our website. Its been a long time coming. My name is Mondo Cortez, I am the founder of the CHICAGO BLUES ANGELS band.  CBA has played American Roots Music, Rock n Roll, Blues, Rockabilly, and a whole lotta soul since 1999.

 

I have shared the stage with such performers as Otis Rush, Junior Wells,  Nick Curran, Kid Ramos, Kim Wilson, Lynwood Slim, Jimmie Vaughan, and Willie Smith. My influences were Johnny Guitar Watson, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Freddie King, Earl Hooker, and Robert Lockwood.
